Characteristics
Quite vigorous in general, but less so on the poor soils of Savennières. It fears spring frosts, having for some years already produced its first buds in February or March, yet secondary buds are not very fertile. Sensitive to grape worms, gray rot, scalding, powdery mildew, erinose, and wood diseases.

It produces a very fruity wine with much bouquet, elegant, always presenting good acidity, generally quite lively, nervous, and often able to age for a very long time.
